In an online event on 2^nd December, 2020, our College observed National Pollution Control Day. Each year this day is nationally commemorated in remembrance of those who lost their lives at the Bhopal Gas tragedy.

The key objective is to educate people on air, soil, noise, water pollution and industrial disasters. This year the focus was to raise awareness on prevention and measures of pollution control.

NSS student and faculty volunteers promoted awareness amongst students through WhatsApp. Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure, SVPCET NSS Program Officer along with NSS Departmental Faculty coordinators Prof. Anthony Augustine, Prof. Pramodkumar Borle, Prof. Trivelli Naidu, Prof. Yogesh Lanjewar, Prof. Dipak Wajgi, Prof. Neha Nagdeve and Dr. Hema Kale put in efforts in coordinating the same.
