“Van Mahotsav - Tree Plantation program” was organized in the college campus on 5th July, 2021, under the banner of SVPCET, NSS Unit.

Taking a step towards a better and greener tomorrow the first saplings were planted by the Director, Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrankunnel and the Principal, Dr. Surendra Gole.

Saplings were then planted by the NSS Program Officer, Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure, NSS Department Faculty Coordinator, Mr. Anthony Augustine, student volunteers Mayur Khonde, Abhay Sharma, Anurag Ate, Jay Shinde and Sakrt Tirpude along with non–teaching staff around the college campus.

The event was carried out in accordance with the social distancing norms prescribed by the government. Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure, NSS Program Officer, coordinated the event.
