When stories foster ‘empathy and empowerment’…

Inspiring stories have the power to elicit paradigm shifts. Each listener grabs essentials pertaining to his or her own life. It further leads one to strive for new purpose, drives one to higher awareness or maybe make that minutest change that infact is crucial for one’s growth. Keeping in line with this the Happiness Centre team had organized a Story Telling session on ‘Empathy and Empowerment’, 25th February, 2020, for students of all semesters of our College.

Co-Founder and CEO, YUVA, Mr. Nikhil Taneja, (TEDx speaker & storyteller) kept the students glued to their seats from 11.15am until 1.30 pm. He captured their attention by engrossing them in short stories of his own life right from his engineering days till date. He also shared personal stories of youth across India from the campuses he visited, thus striking a chord with our students.

End of the session there was open mike, several students came forward, faced the audience with courage and shared inspiring life stories of their own, which until now only lay deep within them.

The session was much appreciated by all present. Happiness Centre team thanks the Management for encouraging them in this endeavour.
