The Department of Information Technology, St. Vincent Pallotti College Of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, had organized an Advisory Board Meeting on ‘Curricular Gap Identification & Improvement in Teaching-Learning Process’ on 7th March, 2020. Sixteen industry professionals including 08 CEO/Founder/Head of IT companies, 08 Alumni, 12 Department Faculty members and 08 Student co-coordinators were a part of this endeavour.

The panelists reiterated that good knowledge on subjects such as mathematics and statistics is of importance, students need to have an innate desire to learn, focus must be on grasping well the  core concepts, initiating start-ups and being job providers. The discussion also lead towards strengthening knowledge on fundamentals, technological advancements, becoming professionals rather than degree holders, and also staying connected with  industries for practical approaches towards learning.

The Advisory Board Meeting culminated by appreciating all delegates and a zeal to pursue all future objectives.
