AICTE - ISTE sponsored Induction Program on Electric Vehicles

A one week online AICTE-ISTE sponsored Induction Program was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, SVPCET from 14 th - 21st March 2022. The theme of the Induction Program was “Introduction to Electric Vehicle”. 

The inaugural program was conducted on 14th March, 2022. Dr. D.P. Kothari, Ex-Director Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, was the chief guest and in his inaugural speech he highlighted the significance of Electric Vehicles and its potential. Dr. Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel, Director, SVPCET, delivered the opening address, Dr. N. K. Dhote, Head, Electrical Engineering and Convenor, outlined the objectives behind organizing this Induction Program.

A Valedictory function was held on 21st March, 2022. Dr. S.V.Gole, Principal, SVPCET was the chief guest and he appreciated the efforts of the department for organizing an Induction program on “Introduction to Electric Vehicles” in a Multi- disciplinary manner.

Dr. N. K. Dhote, Convenor of the Induction program, Mr. Pravin Pisal and Mr. Kunal Onkar, Co-Convenor from Department of Electrical Engineering, worked hard for the smooth conduction and success of the Induction Program.
