Technex 2020
Our Institute conducted it’s flagship, national level, intra collegiate technical festival – Technex’20, on 20th – 21st January 2020.
This Tech Fest had a total of 8 events, namely – Cranebot 5.0, Overdrive 4.0, Robosoccer, Hackathon, Horizon, Gatewalk, Projectmania and Clueminati.
Cranebot 5.0 is a legacy robotic event where a team of 4 come together to pick the obstacles on their way and place it away to win the race.
Overdrive 4.0 is another legacy robotic event where a team of 4 members races to prove to be the best among the rest.
Robosoccer is also a legacy robotic event where the Messi’s and Ronaldo’s of the technical world compete, to quench the thirst of winning the prize.
Technex-Hackathon is the first version hackathon in Technex where a team of 2-3 members code overnight to provide a solution to a given problem statement.
Horizon is the first version of itself in the history of Technex. Here, a team of 3-4 members compete to build the strongest bridge connecting them to the win.
Gatewalkis the 2nd version of itself where the knowledge and preparation of candidates are brushed up for exams like GATE, CAT and GRE.
Projectmania is a legacy event where the innovation and creativity of participants are awarded.
Clueminatiis a technical fun event where a gang of 2-3 pirates compete to hunt the treasure first.
With these amazing events, Technex’20 was inaugurated at 10:30am on 20th January 2020. The honours were done by the dignitaries where Dr. Deepak Shikarpur was the chief quest. The ceremony began by taking the blessings of the almighty. Further, introduction of Technex was given by the student coordinator – Uttirna Rao, followed by Director’s address and a motivating speech by the Chief Guest. The ceremony ended by a vote of thanks proposed by student co-coordinator – Siddhant Gaikwad. Thereafter, dignitaries inaugurated all the events under Technex’20.
This Tech Fest experienced amazing enthusiasm from participants, coming together from different parts of the country like – IIIT Gwalior, BITS Mesra, etc.
On the evening’s of both days after the competitions, participants witnessed an array of cultural events specially organized for them by students. It ended with an amazing performance by RJ Naman and his companion.
