A Tree Plantation program was organized in the college campus on 19th June, 2020, under the banner of SVPCET, NSS. Taking a step towards a better and greener tomorrow, Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrankunnel (Director) & Dr. Surendra Gole (Principal), planted the first sapling, followed by Fr. Siju Jose (Financial administrator), Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure (NSS Program Officer), Mr. Anthony Augustine (NSS Department Faculty Coordinator), NSS student volunteers and non–teaching staff planting rest of the trees in and around the college campus.

The event was carried out following the social distancing norms prescribed by the government. Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure, NSS Program Officer, coordinated the event.
