The Department of Civil Engineering had organized a guest lecture on the topic ‘Basic and Advanced Surveying Techniques’ for their Second Year students on 6^th March, 2020.

The resource person was Mr. Sarang Paranjpe, Director, imaGIS Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur. The session began with insights into the basics of surveying, to speaking about recent advancements, instruments used in surveying, working of GIS, Remote Sensing, Drone System and the need to improvise on surveying techniques.

All through students were engrossed at the knowledge and information being imparted, clearing their doubts during the question-answer time. The program was coordinated by faculty members of the Civil Engineering Department.
