Department of Information Technology had organized Online Parent Teacher Interaction for 5^th Semester students' parents on 26.9.2020, from 11.00am to 1.00pm. of which good response was received. The Program began by welcoming parents, followed by presentation by Dr. Manoj V. Bramhe, Associate Professor & HoD-IT. During the presentation, he informed the Department’s progress on conducting online academic& co-curricular activities for students during the lockdown period, from July 2020 till date.

Dr. Bramhe informed parents that this year the Department would be applying for NBA accreditation process and urged parents as stakeholders to be proactive for the same. Prof. Tiwari briefed parents about Digirivista monthly e-magazine of the Department and also showed screenshots of students' information system. Prof. Bramhe also highlighted about quality initiatives taken up such as the industry sponsored laboratory in association with Cymetrix Software, Mumbai, where students are getting opportunities of doing mini projects cum internship-cum major projects with stipend & finally placement opportunities in the sales-force domain. He also gave them details of the industry supported laboratory in association with Dnnovate, Bangalore,for Augmented& Virtual Reality domain.

The Department had also invited their alumnus, Mr. Sushil Dhote, of the 2017 batch as guest invitee for the PTI. The alumnus encouraged students and their parents. Parents appreciated efforts of the faculty members and were grateful for all new initiatives taken.50 of them were part of this parent-teacher interaction.
