National Level Virtual Hackathon

The Department of Computer Engineering in association with the CE ACM Student Chapter and CSI Student Chapter had conducted a National level 48 hr. SVPCET CE VIRTUAL HACKATHON’ event from 6th to 8th November, 2020 .

The event was inaugurated at the hands of Fr. Dr. Paul C (Director), Dr. Surendra V. Gole (Principal), Prof. R. B. Gowardhan (Vice Principal), Dr. Vivek B. Kute (HOD-CE Department).

This initiative was promoted with the intention of boosting the culture of innovation, sharing of creative ideas and effective collaboration driven by enthusiasm towards a shared goal.

There were participants from all over India, 16 teams from different states of the country. Round 1 of the competition was was judged by the CE Department faculty, of which 5 groups found themselves in Round 2, judged by Industry mentors and alumus Mr. Abhijeet Mahankal, Mr. Pratik Wanjari and Mr. Prajwal Bende. The two best teams having the best Problem Statement were selected and declared as winners.

This event was coordinated by Student Coordinator Sarang Chouguley and his execution  team (Sarvesh, P.R. Abhishek, Punit, Ritk , Vedant , Mansi & Palash). Faculty coordinators  were Prof. Pallavi Wankhede and  Prof. A. D. Pathak.
