The Department of Information Technology, had organized an industry collaborated  50hrs (7 days) skill development workshop on “Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality using Vuforia & Unity”, from 29th February, 2020 to 15th March, 2020. The workshop’s facilitators were Mr. Rahul Chute, LDT Program Director & Mr. Nikhil Wadnerkar, Dnnovate Technologies, Bangalore.

Mr.  Rahul Chute gave them a detailed overview about Augmented Reality Applications. On the first day of the workshop students were taught about the unity and vuforia installation. During the hands on session, students created various 3D objects in unity game engine using Blender, this was a thrilling experience for them. 67 students of 2nd, 3rd & 4th year participated in this workshop.

Students also developed AR applications like projection of college video & audio recitation of college vision & mission. They were more than content with the deliverables and enjoyed the workshop to the fullest.

This workshop was co-ordinated by faculty members Prof. Shabana Pathan & Prof. Manali Patki.
