Alumnus Interaction

The Department of Computer Engineering organized an Alumnus Interaction for the students of 2nd Year (3rd Semester).  Mr. Madhav Somani, an alumnus of the Batch of 2017, was invited to guide students interested to go abroad for Higher Studies.

He suggested, students seek guidance from professors in the college while planning for this move. His take on the situation to study abroad is to keep learning and stay updated to latest changes in domains of interest. Companies in countries like USA, Canada, Germany and Japan offer good opportunities and better packages to fresh graduates. An important mention that he made in his interaction was to exclusively consider appearing for exams like GRE, TOEFL or IELTS in accordance with countries one aspires for. Some countries even sponsor the Visa of students who fulfill their job criteria and specifications.

His parting remark to students was to enjoy every bit of the process of one’s growth and once in the industry to gain much experience for future prospects.

The Department of Computer Engineering organized this session under the guidance of Prof. Sunil Wanjari (AASC Club Coordinator) and Prof. Komal Jaisinghani (Alumni Connect Coordinator).
